The Clothing Tag It! Competition Official

Friday 9th July, 2010 - 1:44pm

Objective- Design and create a clothing tag for your own label of clothing. Decide whether the tag is for men’s, women’s or children’s clothing and for what market (designer or high-street) and reflect that in your design. You can but you don’t have to incorporate a place to put the price, size or bar code on the tag but you must have your clothing line’s name clearly visible.

Rules-

  • You can enter as many times as you like.
  • You may can use any method you want to create your design: computer or hand-made/drawn.
  • Please only use images/photographs that you are entitled to use. Send me the names and emails/URLs of all the owners of the images you have used if they’re not yours.
  • Now I’ve come to the point where I’m just making up rules so as to sound “official”.
  • You may not be 3ft and 4inches tall.

Examples-

This is a quick example, I’ve made for the competition for children’s clothing. If you’re inspiration-less, you can just copy this but you won’t win. It’s not against the rules above though!

Looking for more examples other than the shoddy one that took me two minutes above? Click here for some examples by “the professionals”.

How it is judged- Regardless of the amount of entries, there will be a winner of the most popular clothing tag. Voting will be done by the public blindly (i.e. no names attached to the entries). If there are enough, I’ll let the people in my advertisement package pick their collective favorite. And if there are even more I shall devise a cunning way to pick a random winner (so enter lots!). I’m thinking about putting every competitor’s name onto a card and picking it out of a hat. No, and then blowing them with an electric fan out the front door of my house and whoever’s card hits my grumpy neighbor’s house first wins! Although I might not be alive to post the result. So yeah, enter, enter!

Prizes-
A massivo advertisement package! If enough people enter then the contest package will be broken up. There might be some other tiddly-widdly prizes I can give if I suddenly have a brainstorm or find a domain I don’t want (yeah right). You can also have everything from my Neopets account if you want and your can Facebook rape me?
